Replacing your air filter

Some vehicles make it very easy to change your air filter. Some like the 97 dodge caravan make it a lot harder than it needs to be. If we could get an automotive engineer to take this common maintanence practice into consideration when designing the vehicle the world would be a better place! Do you find this valuable?
